Youth Minister

We are seeking a passionate Youth Pastor to lead and disciple the youth of our church, guiding them to Christ and helping them grow into fully developed Christians who actively share the Gospel. The Youth Pastor will create a dynamic ministry that equips young people with a deep understanding of Scripture, encourages faith development, and empowers them to live out their faith.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead youth in Bible studies, worship, and discipleship programs.
• Inspire and mentor youth to build a personal relationship with Christ.
• Develop outreach opportunities for youth to share the Gospel.
• Partner with parents and church leadership to support the overall development of youth.
• Plan and teach during Sunday School and lead youth activities on Sunday nights, including Bible study.
• Plan and lead two social events per year, such as a retreat, conference, or fun activities.
• Coordinate youth summer camp (optional but a plus).
• Complete administrative duties, including managing the youth ministry budget.
• Recruit, train, and pray for youth ministry volunteers.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about ongoing activities.
• Maintain positive relationships with youth and families and ensure the safety of all volunteers and youth.
• Attend regular staff and church council meetings.
• Prepare reports for business and council meetings regarding youth activities.
• Coordinate mentors to disciple new believers.
• Support the general welfare of the church and the success of other church activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Pastor.

Qualifications:

• A strong commitment to leading youth to Christ and equipping them to share their faith.
• Strong relational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in youth ministry preferred.
