WORK SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday, but can be flexed according to special events and needs of the church ·
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a media specialty or ·
- Comparable experience or
- willingness to continue pursuing contemporary education or technical certifications
EDUCATION ·
- Minimum 5 years of experience preferred in media production, audio visual, or graphic design/production ·
- Proficiency with Worship Ministry software (i.e., Green Screen capabilities, video production, Pro-Presenter, etc.) ·
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- ·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail ·
- Effective team player and ability to positively interact with staff and church members ·
- Proficient in current office technology – (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, etc.) ·
- Good working knowledge of all things A/V as it relates to the church. Video Production Video Broadcast Video Projection Audio Production Recording Arts
- A healthy understanding of how technology is used for the gospel
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS ·
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies in media/production processes ·
- Responsible for maintaining worship production systems (cameras, AV equipment, lighting, microphones, etc.) ·
- Broadcast Supervision (i.e. Set up live streams for worship services, Lower 3rds and Graphics, supervising volunteers.) ·
- Design, maintain, and set up audio and lighting equipment for programming across venues (worship center, fellowship hall, and youth area)
- Provide training on audio, media and lighting systems for staff and volunteers to operate equipment across all venues
- Collaborate with the Worship Pastor and Lead Pastor to continually evaluate, develop, and infuse an environment of participatory, evangelistic worship during the services
- Collaborate with the Worship Pastor in creating, maintaining and scheduling Video production. (i.e. Shoot and edit various videos, etc.)

WORSHIP MEDIA RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DUTIES ·
- Collaborate with the Connection Coordinator with content for social media ·
- Ability to recruit, train, oversee, engage with, and positively influence service teams, assistants, and church members
- Provide system training to ministerial and support staff
- Available to schedule and maintain as needed office hours during the week Sunday morning worship services Wednesday evening services, rehearsals and programming
- Ability to recruit, train, oversee, engage with a service team to schedule and maintain special events, services, and rehearsals
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to worship media.
- Oversee photography and videography of church services and events.
- Keep current with trends in technology and improving the use of media to enhance the ministries of FBC Richmond
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Create and maintain church production calendar
- Experience in, or willingness to learn church software programs (i.e. Pro Presenter, Planning Center, etc.)
- Perform and schedule stage preparation (I.e. line-checking, instruments, furniture, etc.)
- Other duties, as assigned
