Purpose Statement:
To meet people at the point of their need and share with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Reports To:
Executive Director of God's Appalachian Partnership
Ministry Responsibilities:
- Work cooperatively with staff team in fulfilling GAP’s vision, mission, and purpose under the direction of the Executive Director
- Attend weekly team/staff meetings
- Help plan, organize, and conduct GAP functions and community ministry events
- Work with Executive Director to develop an educational strategy and plan to reach both adults and children in our region
- Develop an after school tutoring program
- Life skill classes, job training, etc.
- Plan, organize, and run Day Camps throughout the summer
- Plan different Bible Studies for our families throughout the year
- Plan strategic evangelistic ministry events throughout our area
- Develop relationships with families in order to share the Gospel
- Supervisor of summer interns to help in this area
- Help the Executive Director with other tasks as directed

Qualifications:
Spiritual
- Must give clear evidence of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, have a practice of personal Bible study and prayer and demonstrate dedication and spiritual maturity by a daily walk of faith and obedience.
- Must be living a clean, wholesome, fruit-bearing spiritual life and be a person of vision, burden, spiritual depth, imitative and faithfulness.
- Must be able to present the gospel with clarity and be ready to defend their faith.
- Must have a clear definite call of the Holy Spirit to ministry.
- If married, have a spouse who is supportive of their call.
- Must be fully recommended by home church/pastor and set aside for missionary service by home church.

- Must be able to work closely with those of different doctrine and cultural backgrounds and be able to build and maintain a network of meaningful relationship.
? Skills and Abilities
- Should have excellent planning and coordinating skills, attention to detail and deadlines and the ability to take initiative to solve problems.
- Must be able to work well with people in building teams and able to communicate well.
- Must have communication skills with churches and individuals through written letters, email etiquette and verbal communication.
- Time management and punctuality is a must.
- Competent computer skills in Windows, Microsoft Office and Excel.
