Position Summary:
A growing disciple of Jesus Christ who leads members to be disciple makers in the Kingdom of God as a part of this local body of believers fulfilling the Great Commission.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee all music and worship services of the church
- Collaborate with pastor on services
- Play & Lead the Band, vocalists, and congregation
- Lead rehearsals of musicians and vocalists
- Preparation of music; order, copy, recording, etc.
- Enlist, audition, train volunteers in music
- Spiritually guide musicians and vocalists to embody the Habits of a Disciple of Christ
- Cooperate with Pastor / staff
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Authentic faith in Jesus Christ, grounded in God’s Word
- Exhibits a calling and giftedness as a musician / leader
- Organized, multi-tasker, manage budgets, computer literate, good people skills
Compensation:
Salary based on experience and qualifications.
