New Paradise Baptist Church, a traditional conservative congregation dedicated to spreading the Gospel and serving our community, is prayerfully seeking a dynamic and compassionate pastor to lead us into a new season of spiritual growth.
Who We Are:
Located just outside of Greenville, KY, New Paradise Missionary Baptist Church has faithfully served God and our community for many years. Our mission is to glorify God through worship, discipleship, and ministry. We are located 55 miles southeast of Bowling Green.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a pastor who:
- Graduate of a seminary or bible college is preferred
- Is firmly rooted in Scripture and upholds the Missionary Baptist faith and traditions
- Meets the requirements of 1st Timothy 3
- Is passionate about equipping the church for evangelism, discipleship, and service in a diverse community
- Experience as a pastor is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Preaching and teaching biblically sound, Spirit-led sermons
- Providing pastoral care, including counseling, hospital/home visits, and supporting church members in their spiritual walk
- Collaborating with church leadership to develop and execute a Christ-centered vision for the church
- Overseeing church operations and ministries while fostering spiritual growth and unity within the congregation
- Leading initiatives to expand community outreach and foster relationships within the local area
