The Pike Association of Southern Baptist located in Eastern Kentucky is prayerfully seeking a part-time, enthusiastic, and innovative Associational Mission Strategist to lead its 25 member churches. The candidate must be capable of leading pastors through a ministry of encouragement and prayer. Ideally, we are seeking a man of God who has a proven record of disciple making, has a burden for church revitalization and church planting, is willing to lead our churches to engage in missions locally and globally to fulfill the Great Commission. The man of God must have a passion for developing leaders along with excellent preaching and people skills. Social media skills are also highly desired. Resumes will be accepted from April 1st and can be submitted through amsresume@pikeassociation.org until April 26th.
Qualifications:
The Ideal candidate should meet the Biblical qualifications of a gospel minister as described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. The candidate should have pastoral experience, hold to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as his statement of faith, must be a man called of God and fully committed to denominational service. This candidate should have experience and or educational qualifications such that he will be able to effectively carry out his duties as AMS.
