Who We Are
Burnside First Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to shepherd our local body of believers through Biblical preaching and teaching, fulfilling the duties of a pastor in the public, private, and personal ministries of the Word. We are praying for the pastor God has for our church—someone who will lead by example as we fulfill our purpose in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
Our mission statement declares:
"We exist to make disciples of Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and missions."
We are a small, welcoming congregation of devoted believers excited for the work God has for us. We are congregation-led, with two existing staff positions —an Associate Pastor and a Church Secretary. Our leadership includes trustees, a deacon, and active committees.
- Current Membership: 149 (on church roll)
- Current Attendance: 30-40 (Sunday AM), 5-15 (Sunday PM & Wednesday PM)
- 2025 Approved Budget: $92,556.00
- Senior Pastor Salary Range: 15-25K (Potential For Growth)
We have recently revised our church structure, including committees and officers, and have an ongoing need to update church governance documents (bylaws, constitution, policies). Candidates with administration and revitalization experience are preferred.
