Description
This part-time position will be the point person and ministry leader for all student-related ministry activities working under the direction of the senior pastor and church elders. The student ministry at Ballardsville consists of youth in grades 6-12. 
  • The student pastor will focus on disciple-making and implement an equipping strategy with students and adult volunteers throughout his area of responsibility.
  • The student pastor will plan, oversee, and execute the student ministry, including but not limited to Sunday morning Sunday School, Wednesday evening youth group, and summer ministry events.
  • He will seek to grow the ministry in spiritual formation, impact, and size.
  • He will work with student ministry volunteers to ensure their proper training and continued participation and leadership in the ministry.
  • He will be available to connect with church and guests at Sunday services.
  • The student pastor will meet regularly with the pastor/staff, youth leaders, parents, and others to facilitate excellent communication and cooperation across all departments and ministries of the church. 
  • This pastor will utilize the church's membership management system to take attendance, communicate, and publicize announcements.
  • He will utilize social media to publicize announcements and ministry invitations and events. 
  • This pastor will follow and enforce the church's policies for safety and security.
