Senior Pastor

Pleasant View Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking God’s direction for a full-time senior pastor. 

Pleasant View Baptist Church (PVBC) is located in Waynesburg, KY and is seeking a pastor to lead our church on mission to make disciples of Christ, serve its community, and grow the kingdom.  PVBC is a multi-generational church with a rich history committed to serving God and loving our neighbors.

Ideal Candidate:  Experienced pastor with strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a focus on discipleship and ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a collaborative effort to facilitate and encourage spiritual growth and discipleship
• Provide pastoral care to the congregation
• Collaborate with various teams to plan and lead worship services with biblically-based sermons
• Build community relationships to facilitate outreach and mission activities
• Lead the administration and management of the church operations

Doctrinal Beliefs:  Must adhere to the doctrinal beliefs outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
