Oakland Baptist Church of Gallatin County, Ky, is looking for a Part-time pastor who has a personal relationship with Christ. As a Church, we are actively seeking a who contains the following: integrity, passion, vision, humility, fiscal responsibility, is purpose driven, a mentor, is peaceful, patient, a teacher, not quick tempered and is a believer in the sacred word of God. As a church, we believe God allows for free-will of his followers to promote their devotion and faith toward him.
Pastoral Requirements include, but not limited to:
Plan and conduct worship services: prepare and deliver sermons.
Support the church in an wffective evangelism program and in a caring ministry for those in the church and the community.
Lead an effective program of visiting the sick and shut in members and prospects.
Support board of trustees, chruch offices and committees/auxiliaries as they perform their designated duties in serving the church.
Agree with and support the mission and beliefs of the church.
