Faith Baptist Church in Frankfort Kentucky is seeking a part time Worship Leader. Faith Baptist is a fast-growing church with a heart to serve each other within the body of Christ, and to serve our community.
Purpose
- To provide leadership to the worship and media team; helping them grow in their ministry and their walk with Christ.
- To lead the congregation in worship with doctrinally sound music. (Preferably blended service)
Scope
- The Worship Leader will work under the direct supervision of the Pastor and work with the Pastor, media team, and the choir to set the overall direction of worship services. They will be responsible for making sure the media team, and music are organized and prepared for worship services. They will lead the congregation in worship with scripture and music. The individual must communicate and work well with others. The individual must demonstrate the ability to lead others, teach others, disciple others and develop growth in others so they can better serve the Lord. The individual should demonstrate the overall ability to shepherd others. The individual must demonstrate a knowledge of the Bible and live a life that demonstrates their faith in God and his Holy word.
Qualifications
- A clear testimony of Faith in Jesus Christ.
- Ability to communicate the Gospel through word and song.
- A commitment to moral purity and an upstanding reputation within the church and local community.
- A commitment to the mission, vision, and work at Faith Baptist Church.
- Media and tech knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to work with or lead a choir and praise team is preferred.
