Minister of Music

Temple Baptist Church, Springfield, Kentucky is looking for the person called of God to serve as minister of music. Responsibilities include:

1. Direct the planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluation of a comprehensive music program for the church.
2. Assist the pastor in the planning of the music specials of the various worship services.
3. Maintain the music library, materials, supplies used in the music program.
4. Evaluate and suggest solutions for the musical needs of the church.
5. Prepare an annual budget for the choirs and musical groups.
6. Arrive on time in order to have worship materials and other items necessary for the function of the music program of the day.
7. Direct a weekly choir rehearsal for the sanctuary choir.
8. Work in cooperation with the technical crew and the pastor to provide the opportunity for a meaningful and enjoyable worship service.
9. Attend and participate in monthly visitation whenever possible.
