Slaughters Baptist Church is searching for a full time Pastor who is a licensed Southern Baptist minister and a preacher of the Gospel and of the doctrines of faith.
Our paastor is responsible for leading our church to function as a New Testament Church. The pastor will lead the congregation, the organizations, and the church staff to perform their tasks. The pastor is the leader of the Church Ministries within the Church.
As such he works with the deacons and church staff to: 1) lead the church in performing its tasks, 2) lead the church to engage in fellowship of worship, witness, education, ministry, and application 3) proclaim the gospel to believers and unbelievers, and 4) care for members of Church and of the community.
Slaughters Baptist Church currently has the following church officers that are members: Pastor, Youth Pastor, Deacons (6), Clerk, Treasurer, and Trustees.
Our typical services and average attendance: Sunday School averages 60 attendees from Nursery to Senior Citizens, Sunday Morning services average 130 people in attendance, Wednesday Night services average 110 attendees that include Team Kids, Youth, and Adult Biible Study classes with a meal provided.
The Pastor shall meet the requirements for this office as set forth in 1Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
