Principle Function
The minister of music is responsible to the church for the development and promotion of a music program for a multi-generational congregation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. 15 hours per week to include attendance at Wednesday night band/praise team practice, as well as, Sunday morning service.
2. Direct the planning, organizing, conducting, promoting, evaluating and expansion of all music programs, including choirs, vocal and/or instrumental soloists or ensembles, and the praise teams.
3. Cooperate and coordinate with the church music committee to enlist leaders for the church music ministry including song leaders and accompanists.
4. Coordinate the music program with the organizational calendar and emphasis of the church, such as Easter and Christmas programs.
5. Shall report to the Pastor who is the operational supervisor for all paid staff of the church.
7. Ready to worship and lead the Church with a passionate heart in musical worship every day.
