Student Minister

East Frankfort Baptist Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated bivocational student minister to lead and disciple our youth. This individual will be responsible for nurturing their spiritual growth, organizing engaging activities, and equipping students to live out their faith.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Discipleship: Lead Bible studies, devotionals, and discussions to help students grow in their faith.
• Youth Ministry Leadership: Plan and oversee weekly student gatherings, retreats, mission trips, and special events.
• Discipleship: Build relationships with students, providing guidance, encouragement, and prayer support.
• Worship & Engagement: Encourage students to participate in church worship services and ministry opportunities.
• Outreach: Develop strategies to reach unchurched students and foster a welcoming environment.
• Communication: Keep parents, students, and church leadership informed on upcoming events and initiatives.
• Collaboration: Work alongside church staff and volunteers to integrate student ministry into the broader church mission.

Qualifications:

• Faith & Character: A committed follower of Christ, grounded in Baptist doctrine and values.
• Experience: Previous youth ministry or leadership experience is a plus.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion: A heart for mentoring and guiding young people in their spiritual journey.
